'Tis the season where we pack up our kids and our friends and their kids and way too much gear and head to the redwoods for some grimy relaxation. The tally this year was a cool dozen adults and 7 kids under six. Late nights, early mornings, too many beers, not enough diapers, homemade marshmallows and singalong songs. We wish Summer lasted all year.

I'm such a wimp. Haven't taken my son camping. Must go somewhere, not a campground, no neighbors, we stay up too late, they complain ;P
